“You can’t do today’s job with yesterday’s methods and be in business tomorrow”
-Unknown

I’ve been in Florida for the past week and a half, spending time in Clearwater and Orlando, not doing much work at all, but I’ve been itching to find time to write this blog post to share with you.

I noticed lately that many people overseas doing business online struggle to find a good merchant processor. Additionally, many seem to only sell their products through Clickbank in order to avoid setting up a merchant account, but these seemingly small fees can add up over time.

2CheckOut.com – 5.5% of sales
Clickbank.com – 7.5% plus $1 per sale
ShareASale.com – 20% of your payouts (equivalent of 10% on all affiliate sales)

So what is stopping business owners outside of the US from setting up a merchant account that will charge closer to 2 or 3% revenue versus the above fees?

Many don’t know how to go about setting up a legal bank account and address within the United States, as most providers require you to be present to set up these services.

By signing up for Nevada Corporate Planners, you can actually get set up with a physical address and bank account, allowing you to run your entire business out of the US, thus making your company more universal.

Best of luck with this – wishing you much success with your online business no matter where you are!

    Thank you Joanna,

This may be a good solution soon for me too. Will research more and jump on it. Not sure if requires a phone number in US but that can be obtained easily with a Canadian MagicJack as I did. Here is the link… I got mine in Beverly Hills as you can chose and area code in US;-) http://dotcomclassroom.com/MagicJack.ca
